On September 24, 2020, the European Commission adopted the Digital Operational Resilience Act for the Financial Sector (DORA) Proposal, as part of the Digital Finance Package. The package's main aim is to promote a competitive EU financial sector able to offer consumer innovative financial products, without compromising consumer protection and financial stability.
